Boston police ask public to help identify woman allegedly involved in Roxbury knife attack

The attack took place on Blue Hill Avenue on Friday, Oct. 13, police said.

Boston police are asking the public to help them identify a woman who was allegedly involved in a knife attack in Roxbury earlier this month.

The assault took place near 218 Blue Hill Ave. around 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 13, police said in a press release. 

The suspect is described as a 30- to 40-year-old Black woman, police said. She was last seen wearing a gray crewneck sweatshirt and dark gray sweatpants with white stripes down the leg. She is believed to frequent the areas of Dewey Street and Blue Hill Avenue.

Police are still investigating the assault. Anyone with information about the suspect or the case is asked to call them at (617) 343-4275.
