Fish and Game officials located Kimberly Kerr in Clough State Park about 12 hours after she was last seen by her family.
A missing woman and her dog were located in New Hampshire’s Clough State Park early Monday morning after an hours-long, overnight search, authorities said.
Kimbery Kerr, 52, was last seen by her family around 6 p.m. on Sunday, according to a press release from the NH Fish and Game Department. She was known to be walking her dog in the area of Sherwood Forest Road in Weare.
Around 11:30 p.m. that night, Weare Police received a call that Kerr hadn’t come home, and began a search of the immediate area. Unable to find her, the local authorities notified state police.
After several more hours of unsuccessful searching, Fish and Game Officials were notified around 3 a.m. on Monday, and joined the search around 5:30 a.m. About 25 minutes later, a Conservation Officer reportedly located her safe in the state park, which is several miles away from Sherwood Forest Road.
