Worker dies following electrocution incident in Cambridge

Authorities have not released the identity of the person who died.

A worker died Tuesday morning from electrocution injuries sustained at AT&T in Cambridge, according to authorities.

Cambridge police responded to the scene at the AT&T facility at 250 Bent St. for a report of an electrocution, police spokesman Robert Goulston noted in an email to Boston.com.

First responders performed CPR on the worker who was hurt in the incident. They transported the worker to a local hospital where they died from their injuries.

Authorities have not released the identity of the person who died.

They notified the Occupational Safety and Health Administration for further investigation.
